RULE OF 7

On Tuesday, January 29th I’ll be performing in a staged reading of two new one-act plays by Jordan Swisher and Brett Epstein. Both playwrights had to follow these 7 rules when writing their plays…

1) This exact line of dialogue on page 14: “You can’t place those there.”
2) One character grew up nearby.
3) A letter.
4) A character loses something.
5) Someone thinks it’s a little too cold.
6) A scream, uncalled for.
7) The last moment of the play — Someone says “Oops.” They are still. Blackout.

Come see how Jordan and Brett each followed the rules! One night only at The Tank, 7pm. Tickets are $5 - the best theater value in town!

BUSKERS PILOT

In November I had the privilege of acting in “Buskers,” a sitcom set in Boston about the antics of street performers, written and directed by my brother Kyler! Shooting at Fenway Park was a highlight, and being directed by my talented brother of course:)

“The Online Daters”

In September Kelsey starred in Eric Ford-Holevinski’s ”The Online Daters” - a short film about single New Yorkers who turn to the internet to expand their dating pool. Check back soon for release date!

Killing Time

Kelsey will be playing the role of Kitty in Tom Slot’s “Killing Time,” presented by Original Binding Productions, at the Roy Arias Theatre Center July 18-29. For tickets and more information click here!

Just Shoot Me

My good friend Anna is dabbling in headshot photography and asked me to be the subject in a practice photo shoot. Of course any chance to strike a pose and “smile with my eyes” and I’m in!

(I’ve always been a bit of a ham in front of the camera)

We had beautiful weather, a few creepy construction worker on-lookers, and a lot of laughs which made for a very fun session. Anna was great with creating scenarios to create different moods and inspire a variety of facial expressions. A few of my favs were “you’re on the red carpet and you just won an Oscar” and “your boyfriend just proposed!”

Hamming it up for old time’s sake…

I think she did a pretty great job for it being her first time shooting, what do you think? What photo is your favorite?
